Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has questioned the government's decision to partner with Ericsson (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd instead of Huawei, despite the Chinese company offering a cheaper solution.

Last week, Digital Nasional Bhd (DNB) announced it partnership with Ericsson to accelerate the deployment of Malaysia’s fifth-generation (5G) network and ecosystem.

DNB is a government-owned special purpose vehicle set up to build, own and operate Malaysia’s 5G infrastructure.
