Inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar will let police in Alor Setar, Kedah decide if they want to approve a debate between Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) deputy president Mukhriz Mahathir and former special assistant-turned-rival Haris Che Mat.
