Ariana Grande can sing ballads, pop songs, EDM tracks, and even rap. But can she sing Country tunes? According to the singer herself, we will soon find out. When chatting with Elvis Duran at the iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend, Ariana revealed what man has inspired her to break into the Country scene.
We’ll also give a HELL YEAH to Ariana going country! Ari admitted to Elvis she doesn’t have a TON of country music knowledge, but grew up listening to the Dixie Chicks in the car with her Dad. Does anyone else hear the faint sound of a Dixie Chicks and Ariana Grande collaboration in the distance? Maybe that’s just me. Anyways, Ariana also revealed she’s speechless over her upcoming stint on “Hairspray: Live!”
Speaking of seeing Ariana on stage, she recently announced via Instagram that Little Mix AND Victoria Monet will be joining her on her Dangerous Woman tour starting in 2017. Rumor has it tickets aren’t selling as fast as expected with lots of seats still unoccupied! So the good news is you can still snag tickets to see Ari live.
