Ariana Grande and her ex beau Nathan Sykes are once again teaming up for a new version of his hit “Over and Over Again” and we’re getting all sorts of those nostalgic flashback feels.
Well, it seems as though ‘Almost actually IS Enough’ this time around, because it looks like Ari and Nathan have been spending quite some time together in the studio…
Those not-so-subtle Twitter hints are keeping us well on our toes for the release of a new special project from the late band, The Wanted’s previous member Nathan Sykes. He took to the social media site to share a 15-second clip of a new version of his hit “Over and Over Again” and it features some very familiar vocals. Check it out:
Fans were shocked to notice that Ariana Grande is also featured on the track after she also tweeted lyrics from the song, writing QUOTE, "from the heat of night to the break of day I'll keep you safe & hold you forever.." #OverAndOverAgain. She also ‘liked’ Nathan’s post that read, “I have some news... There's another version of #OverAndOverAgain with a very special feature”
The popular track that reached No. 8 on the UK charts was Nathan’s most recent single, but the recreation of his song, of course, leaves the burning question… does this mean that the pair, who dated back in 2013, will also be recreating a new romance OR are they just platonic pals who happen to whip up some flawless tunes together?
All I know is that I can’t wait for this new-and-improved single to drop this Friday, but in the meantime, I want to know what you think about Ari collaborating with Nathan once again and if you liked what you heard, so get to talking right down here in the comments section, and after that, don’t forget to click right over here to check out some of the best and worst dressed from last night’s Golden Globes on an all-new Dirty Laundry. Thanks so much for checking in with me here on Clevver News, I’m your host Joslyn Davis and happy Monday, guys!
