Ariana Grande dropped her album 'Sweetener,' which is her fourth studio album, and one track is rumored, but doesn’t seem like much of a rumor, to be about her ex Mac Miller called “Better Off.” Well if the title doesn’t say it all, I don’t know how else to convey that our girl is doing just fine and much better without her ex. Ariana Grande had a rocky relationship with past love Mac Miller, their 2 year relationship had a lot of ups and downs. Their romance started with their collab "Baby It's Cold Outside," then with the infectious hit "The Way.” But on May 10th, Ariana confirmed their breakup by posting an instagram story saying, “this is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet. I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe hold for each of us!” Not long after her split with Miller, he ended up crashing his car and getting a DUI. She has called her past relationship “scary” and “toxic.” She also said, “I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his s–t together is a very major problem.” In her song “Better Off” she sings, “I’m better off without him//I’m better off being a wild one.” “And you oughta learn how to keep it a thousand//So that I’m better off not being around ya.”
