That’s right, Ariana Grande and her backup dancer Ricky Alvarez are officially dating and that they’re still trying to keep it on the DL.
And t to believe that the world had no idea Ariana had a new man in her life until video surfaced of the pair kissing in a donut shop last month. Yep THAT VIDEO. The same video that showed Ariana licking a donut and saying some pretty negative things about America.
Once that video hit the Internet, everyone could see that something was definitely happening between Ariana and her backup dancer, Ricky. There hasn’t been a lot of news about the duo since that time, but now we have a huge update!
A source just told E! News that Ariana and Ricky QUOTE have been friends for some time now but have only recently been linked romantically END QUOTE. The pair have only been dating for two months, but it sounds like they’re still going strong, even after donut-gate!

So, it sounds like Ariana and Ricky are 100 percent together! Maybe she’ll bring him as her date to the VMAs? She is nominated after all!
