Last night on the ‘Greatest Hits’ finale, Ariana Grande sang a medley of Whitney Houston’s hit songs and needless to say, Ari’s whole tribute was total perfection.
Ariana started off her flashy tribute to Whitney with an incredible performance of the late singer’s classic hit, ‘How Will I Know.’
The singer put her powerful vocals on display before transitioning into Whitney’s dance-heavy track ‘Queen of the Night’ from the Bodyguard soundtrack.
And of course, Ari’s Whitney tribute wasn’t complete without a little dance break…Ariana’s tribute to Whitney shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. The pretty much blew away the world when she did a very short cover of Whitney’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ on Saturday Night Live a few months ago, so it only made sense for the ‘Into You’ singer to cover a medley of the late singer’s hit songs.
Just hours before her breathtaking performance, Ariana tweeted that she felt QUOTE ‘honored to be paying homage to my angel tonight.’ I’m sure Whitney could not have been more proud of Ariana’s tribute performance.
So, what did you think of Ari’s tribute to Whitney? I wanna hear all of your thoughts in the comment section below!
