Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson finally make their FIRST red carpet appearance as a couple and they were as cute as can beeee.
Let me just say, it’s about damn time.
The first red carpet appearance is a pretty huge step for celebrity couples, but for Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson, it’s just another day in the life of Pariana. I mean, Ari and Pete’s first carpet appearance is pretty minor compared to their super quick engagement, but that’s not to say their debut isn’t a big deal, because it is.
Ariana and Pete arrived together at the 2018 MTV VMAs and posed for a NUMBER of adorable photos. They definitely couldn’t keep their hands off of each other while posing for the cameras, but can you blame them?! They’re just SO in love.
Ari hit up the carpet in what can only be described as a space-y, warrior princess superhero look complete with her usual thigh high boots and to everyone’s surprise, she kept her hair down for the night instead of up in her signature ponytail!
Meanwhile, Pete kept things simple in a NASA crewneck, black pants, and sneakers. HOWEVER, as chill as Pete’s look was, the one thing that stood out on him is the light blue beaded bracelet with the letters AGD on them. We can only assume those letters stand for Ariana Grande-Davidson, especially because Ari revealed in a recent interview with Apple Music’s Beats 1 that she will change her last name when she and Pete finally tie the knot, but not completely.
Ari revealed that she has no plans to get rid of the ‘Grande’ in her name, saying QUOTE, “I have to keep Grande because of my Grandpa. I think of him with everything I do in it and he was so proud of our name, I should keep it.”
So, instead of omitting that completely, Ari is just going to hyphenate her name and become ‘Ariana Grande-Davidson.’ Sweet right?
