Ariana Grande Reunites with Jason Robert Brown For Surprise 13 Reunion

Ahhh yes thats a sweet reminder that our dear pop star Ariana Grande has deep deep roots in Broadway. Sometimes when people make it to the top, they forget where they came from. Well that’s far from true when it come to Ms. Ariana Grande. Oh yeah Ari definitely knows where she comes from and yesterday she took it all the way back to 2008 by paying homage to the broadway show that help kick start her career. Yes the Broadway musical 13 back in 2008 was where she worked side by side with Jason Robert Brown. Ari was only 14 back then but still was a force to be reckoned as she starred as the popular high school cheerleader in an all teen cast for the musical. So back to present day Ari stopped by Jason Robert Brown’s Los Angeles concert Monday night to make a surprise appearance where she performed two songs from the musical — “The Lamest Place In the World” and “Brand New You” with her own rendition— along with “Getting Out” from his album. I don’t know about you but everytime I hear her sing i fall in love with her all over again! and a Side note the fact the 22 year old is dressed down in an oversized sweater and cute glasses makes me love her even more!
