Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali is being investigated over his alleged remarks regarding the daughter of inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar.
Azmin told reporters outside the Shah Alam district police station this evening that he was being investigated under Section 500 of the Penal Code for criminal defamation and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
The investigation was over remarks he had allegedly made on May 3.
