PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali called on party leaders and members not to betray the trust given by the rakyat. He said it was important for leaders to carry out the mandate given by the people to bring change to the nation and to set aside factional issues.
On Sunday, PKR central executive committee member Datuk Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid claimed that the head of the Council of Eminent Persons, Tun Daim Zainuddin and Azmin, who is the Economic Affairs Minister, of scheming to prevent PKR president-elect Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from becoming the Prime Minister.
