Manaweblife was caught by surprise in the heart of the Ampang enclave in KL when it followed an interesting bee line of luggage hugging Bangladeshis marching in the drizzling morning rain . This video takes you to a supposedly stop over for these 70-80 newly arrived Banglas where they were frisked before allowed to enter a some sort of lodging or hostel. The situation is very unbecoming of a urban cosmopolitan Ampang and this was reported due to the recent Bangladesh embassy move to an area nearby here. On other occasions van loads of Banglas can be seen coming to this area for their documentation purposes. They gather at the walkways of the shop-fronts and at food stalls or any place that they can rest their feet.
The effect of this Bangla tsunami is the utter load of garbage all over the place as well as the setting up of migrant trades in the shops in the area to cater for this influx daily. The transformation of an upmarket urban enclave in KL into a Bangla town is clearly visible. Indeed, during the weekend this is a hive of Bangla concentration and not a very touristy sight. Malaysia is becoming a migrant's haven or is it a refuge for human trafficking ? Let those in authority tell us the truth while we can see all for ourselves right in this video.
