Barisan Nasional successfully defended the parliamentary seat of Cameron Highlands in Saturday's by-election, seeing their candidate Ramli Mohd Nor becoming the first Orang Asli MP in the nation's history.
Ramli defeated Pakatan Harapan's M Manogaran and independent candidates Sallehudin Abdul Talib and Wong Seng Yee with a majority of 3,238 votes.
