Works Minister Baru Bian has given his assurance to monitor the construction of the Sarawak-Sabah Link Road to ensure the project to be completed as scheduled.
Speaking at the launch of the construction of the SSLR in Lawas on Tuesday, Baru said he is putting his career on the line and will quit if the SSLR is not completed.
The 425km SSLR costs RM5.2 billion and is expected to be completed in 2030.
