Bella Hadid RESPONDS To Rumors She Was Kissing The Weeknd At Coachella

Yesterday rumors ran amok that Bella Hadid and her ex, The Weeknd, had been spotted making out at a party at Coachella this weekend. E News! Shared the story on their Instagram page, writing QUOTE, “The Weeknd and Bella Hadid were spotted ‘kissing all night’ at a Coachella afterparty and it’s safe to say we didn’t feel it coming”, followed by a link to their article on the story. But Bella shut down the rumors DIRECTLY, commenting on E!’s Instagram post QUOTE, “It wasn’t me”, followed by the shrugging woman emoji and a detective emoji.
So who WAS The Weeknd spotted kissing all night at an afterparty? Perhaps it was model Chantal Jeffries, aka Justin Bieber’s ex, who The Weeknd was seen showing off some PDA with at the festival. And yes--we can confirm that the PDA between The Weeknd and Chantal DID happen, because TMZ has the receipts to prove it. The pair was seen on Saturday night, arm in arm as they hung out around the closed-off VIP area. At one point Chantal leaned her head on The Weeknd’s shoulder, which to us means these two are currently more than friends.
It’s possible that the sources of those Bella-and-The Weeknd “kissing all night” rumors mistook Bella for Chantal--if they were watching the makeout happen from the distance of half a football field, that is. But as of now we have no other explanation for the case of mistaken identity. So to quote Bella herself, insert the shrugging woman emoji and the detective emoji right here.
