Bella Hadid SHUTS DOWN Drake Dating Rumors After Cryptic Lyrics

To catch you up to speed, last week Drake dropped his latest 24-track album, Scorpion, and the rapper did NOT hold back when it came to spilling the tea on his own person life when it came to his lyrics. Scorpion revealed everything from the fact that Drake has a SON who was born in October of last year, to why he didn’t respond to Pusha T’s diss track, “The Story of Adidon”, and everything in between.
And as much as every song had Drake fans talking, there was one song in particular that seemed to confirm the rumors that Drake hooked up with model Bella Hadid at some point. Media outlets began reporting that Drake may have broken “bro code” by dating his friend The Weeknd’s ex back in the summer of 2017, and Drake even reportedly threw Bella’s birthday party back in October.
So cut to the release of ‘Scorpion’, and there are some very juicy lyrics that have Bella written all over them -- without ever mentioning her name, of course. On the song “Finesse, Drake raps QUOTE, “Should I do New York? I can't decide / Fashion week is more your thing than mine" and later adds QUOTE, "You and your sister / Too hot to handle”. With lines like that, social media went into hyperdrive discussing the Drake and Bella 2017 dating rumors once again.
But just as quickly as the rumors re-started, Bella herself took to twitter to shut them down. When one fan commented QUOTE, “Probably, who hasn’t he banged”, in response to a Perez Hilton tweet asking fans if those Bella and Drake rumors were true, Bella replied to the fan QUOTE, “Not me!!!️that’s disrespectful. WHY CANT PPL BE FRIENDS W/o all the insinuation”, followed by a series of emojis that showed just how frustrated she’s feeling with all the speculation.
On one hand, we feel pretty bad for Bella having to knock down all those rumors, but on the other hand, maybe it’s really Drake she should be calling out for dropping such MAJOR hints pointing to a hookup in the song? Just sayin’.
