Not every Hollywood romance ends in a happily ending. we’ve just learned that Bennifer have announced their divorce after ten years of marriage…
Ben & Jenn should’ve been celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary just yesterday, but instead have decided to split. The couple told E! News QUOTE, “After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."
Speculation of a possible divorce was already on the horizon. Rumors of trouble in their marriage stemmed back to 2013 after Ben’s Oscar-winning speech, where he was forced to defend his remarks that being married is “work.” He said, QUOTE, “I want to thank my wife... for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It is work, but it's the best kind of work. And there's no one I'd rather work with.”
Just last year, while doing press for his film Gone Girl, Ben slammed reports of a brewing divorce, saying that the tabloids were BULLS#!% and that they completely lie, but unfortunately there was some truth to the rumors after all… Just a couple of days ago a moving truck was spotted outside of their Brentwood home leading people to believe that someone was moving out.
I don’t know about you guys, but this is one Hollywood couple I was rooting for, so this news has definitely put a damper on my day, but I want to know what y’all think about Bennifer’s divorce, and while you’re at it, give them a ton of love during this difficult time right down here in the comments section.
