Benedict Cumberbatch Accuses "Obsessive" Fans of Stalking

Special stuff indeed. Benedict Cumberbatch isn’t thrilled about his Cumberbitches thinking he’s SPECIAL stuff.
The actor isn’t amused at being the “Internet’s Boyfriend”.
Benedict Cumberbatch covers the November issue of Vanity Fair and is speaking out about his obsessive Cumberbitches. The magazine contributor read Benedict a fan tweet saying QUOTE, “Sometimes when I’m sad I picture a shirtless Benedict Cumberbatch slowly eating an apple fritter. Try it!” Benedict responded by awkwardly laughing and saying, “It wouldn’t work for me...I’m glad I’m bringing a ray of sunshine to an otherwise dull day...it makes me giggle.” But Benedict admits he doesn’t see himself the way fans see him- he sees his faults for what they are. The Sherlock actor thinks some fans take their admiration for him TOO far admitting QUOTE, “There are people who believe that my wife is a PR stunt and my child is a PR stunt. I think it’s really to do with the idea that the ‘Internet’s Boyfriend’ can’t actually belong to anyone but the internet. It’s impossible he belongs to anyone but me. And that’s what stalking is. That’s what obsessive, deluded, really scary behavior is.” Ouch. But we hear you. Guys- let’s try to be HAPPY for Benedict, who’s just trying to balance a healthy family life with an acting career.
