The Registrar of Societies (RoS) has been urged to conduct investigations on the first annual general meeting of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia on Saturday as it was allegedly not held according to the party’s constitution.
Temerloh PPBM division chief Amerus Che Onn said delegates to the AGM were not elected according to the party’s constitution as there was no assembly at branch and division levels to elect delegates to attend the first AGM.
He said the AGM was seen as self-serving event as it was only fighting for the interest of a certain individual and there were no initiatives to resolve the crisis in the party itself and called on Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to resign as PPBM and Pakatan Harapan chairman.
