Blue Ivy and North West aren't the only ones who have truly grown this year- nope, it was a year of new abs, new sounds and all-around transitioning for the best. So to celebrate this upward motion, I'm here to count down my top 4 Favorite Artists that have totally matured this year! Hey guys, I'm Chelsea Briggs and this is the Hollywire Hot Minute!
Coming in at number 4 is of course Nick Jonas- I mean, In 2013, he was starting to come into his own [pic] but in 2014? HOLY ABS! And crotch grab.... And his musical sound really grew up too, In fact he's killing it in his solo career, jealous is my jam.. and jealous is how I feel about those abs!
On to number 3 - Taylor Swift. Girl made quite the transition from Country to pop music this year and while some fans were a little worried her lyrics would be watered down by the change, oh boy were they wrong! Because she delivered with FLYING COLORS and toped ALL the charts! Not only that, but her fashion-sense totally leveled up in a big-big way! She really looks AND sounds like a grown woman! And specifically... I think her Victoria Secret Fashion Show performance showed us just that...
Now onto my number 2 pick! Why, It's none other than Fifth Harmony! Let's look for a hot second at some of their first X-factor performances... [short montage]- And NOW?!?! They're total bosses... [over BO$$ vid clip] And don't even get me started on Sledge Hammer.... girls be maturing so beautifully!
Finally- my number one pick for Transition of the Year is Selena Gomez. Not only did she grow intellectually and spiritually... [clips from SelGo interviews] but I feel like she's really tapped into her true talents too. I mean The Heart Wants What It Wants- that video and song was not only killer, but it was a TOTALLY brave and vulnerable move for SelGo. #Proud
Real talk, I'm so proud of how much EVERYONE has matured this year, but I want to hear who you think did the most growing up. Let's talk it out below and as always...
