Did Blac Chyna really just shade Kylie’s mom status on Instagram?
If you’re feeling deja vu, you’re not alone.
If we had a wig for everytime Kylie Jenner and Blac Chyna have shaded each other on Instagram, you’d never be able to recognize us. The Internet is convinced that one of Blac Chyna’s latest posts has “Kylie Shade” written all over it. Yesterday Chyna posted this sultry photo sitting in front of french doors wearing a gold knitted two piece, huge round mirrored sunglasses, and a teal wig. First of all, if we look at Chyna’s ensemble alone there’s potentially a huge nod to Kylie with the bright teal wig. But when you look at the caption you realize you’re dead right. Chyna captioned the image with a moody quote reading, “There are some things I learned best in storm, and some in calm.”
It was only a matter of time before Chyna voiced her opinion on Kylie’s sudden motherhood and choice of baby name. And it came in the form of this cryptic Instagram quote. Obviously fans think the “storm” reference is a direct call out to Kylie’s baby, Stormi Webster.
You could argue that Chyna dropped the “storm” word on purpose to stir up some attention and drama. Or that Chyna deliberately wanted to reignite her feud with Kylie. One other theory is that maybe Chyna was feeling super profound and simply wanted to inspire her followers. Regardless of the reason, it worked cuz here we are dedicating over two minutes to dissecting Chyna’s Instagram. Chyna and Kylie have gone back and forth subtly shading each other for years, but we have a feeling Kylie’s new outlook on life may hold her back from responding to this one. Especially if this dig does involve her baby girl Stormi.
