Once a year this enclave in Kuala Lumpur's fringe is amassed with all kinds of lights and colours to welcome the Indian festival of lights called Deepavali. This area named Brickfields is where you will find an intricate façade of classical designs within which are corridors of arcades parading everything to do with the Indian community. Clothes, traditional attire, foodstuff, candies and even vegetables d hand painting with henna are here ! That's not all. There are lots of interesting street food all around too ! No wonder this is a favourite tourist attraction . Nevertheless, Brickfields is a place to visit not just approaching Deepavali, it's open everyday !
