Britain's Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the UK's election appeared to have given him a powerful mandate for Brexit.
Early results and exit polls indicate that Johnson will win a significant majority in the UK's House of Commons, allowing him to deliver Brexit at the start of next year.
In his constituency, where he was up against a host of parties including "novelty" candidates such as Lord Buckethead, Johnson said he would get to work "today" changing the country for the better.
