When it comes to Adele’s ballads, she’s the only one who can do them justice. But after watching Bruno cover ‘All I Ask,’ it’s safe to say he’s a REALLY close second.
After opening up to Rolling Stone magazine about his mini tiff with Adele during a song writing session -- if you don’t remember, Bruno revealed that he and Adele had a little spat over the use of the word ‘lovers’ in the song ‘All I Ask’ – the singer went on to cover the song at BBC Radio’s 1 Live Lounge on Wednesday.
Bruno was backed by the Hooligans during the jam sesh, which gave the song a little funky ‘80s-ish vibe. Even though Bruno and Adele envisioned the lyrics differently at the beginning, the singer sang the song the way it was meant to be sung – with the words ‘lovers’ and all.
After all, he did admit that he QUOTE, ‘looks forward to singing that part.’
