A fire behind Penang International Airport's cargo terminal on Wednesday had passengers and the social media in a frenzy.
Fortunately, according to the Fire and Rescue Department, the smoke was not from a fire in the airport but from a bushfire outside its perimeter.
Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd senior manager Mohd Nadzim Hashim said no flights were delayed by the smoke.
