Kepayang assemblyperson Nga Kor Ming was suspended from the rest of today's Perak state legislative proceedings following his remark that the assembly speaker SK Devamany was too preoccupied with the MIC election.

When contacted, Nga said that he had asked Devamany if he was not allowing assemblypersons from asking supplementary questions during the winding-up session by the state executive council because he was trying to speed things along.
