Centre to Combat Corruption and Cronyism (C4) Founding Director Cynthia Gabriel had words praise for the Malaysian Anticorruption Commission (MACC) as they have of late been uncovering cases of large-scale corruption in the public sector.
However, she also expressed concern about how certain laws are being used against whistleblowers, particularly in the media, who voice out when they see corruption taking place, saying that claims made by whistleblowers should be verified and not attacked.
