We’re getting closer and closer to Camila Cabello’s debut album, and now we finally have the track list!
We’re literally counting down the days, Camila.
She posted on Twitter yesterday a photo of a handwritten tracklist for her self titled album dropping on January 12th.
Leading the album is her second official single Never Be The Same, then All These Years, She Loves Control, Havana, Inside Out, Consequences, Real Friends, Something’s Gotta Give, In The Dark, and Into It, for only ten tracks that’s a mouthful.
And if you’re wondering, “where’s Crying In The Club, I Have Questions, or OMG?!”
Well this debut album has had quite the ride. Remember when she originally announced that it was titled The Healing. The Hurting. The Loving.? And that it would drop in September?
As you probably know, those plans were scrapped when she went back into the studio over the summer and was reinspired after Havana did so well commercially.
She said QUOTE, "You know, you only have one chance to make a debut album and at this point I have so many songs I’m passionate about. You know those albums where they are clearly songs that aren’t as good as the singles. I want every song to be single-worthy."
Which just makes us even more excited for the album to drop if all of them are as good as Havana, Never Be The Same, and Real Friends.
On a livestream just last week, her mom referenced her favourite songs by track number, so let’s take a listen to what she said now that we have a few more deets.
Soooo number 6 is Consequences, 8 is Something’s Gotta Give, and 9 is In The Dark and apparently they’re her favourites. But to be fair she says 1 and 2 are her favourites a little earlier in the livestream so I think she’s just a supportive mom who loves every song and why wouldn’t she!
In addition to the track list we got a little sneak peak at…. something.
It looks like…. a picture or a drawing, but what I can make out are the flowers on the desk looking a lot like the flowers in her tracklist photo. Was this just the teaser for the track list? Or is the snippet of Never Be The Same a hint at this being a set for the music video? I Have Questions, Camila.
I can’t wait for all this new music from Camila and maybe a few new music videos, but now I wanna hear from you. Which song title peaked your interest? Let us know in the comments below and then click right over here to see the shocking award show moments of 2017. I’m your host Ava Gordy, thanks for watching Clevver and I’ll see you guys next time.
