The poster for Cara Delevingne’s highly anticipated film was released today, you don’t want to miss it. Clevver News has got the details.
Cara Delevingne is one of the world highest paid and in demand models…but she’s taken her talents to the big screen, starring in the film Paper Towns, hitting theaters in July. Today is an exciting day for the 22 year old model turned actress because the The official Paper Towns poster was released! It pictures Cara alongside costar Nat Wolff.
Author John Green released the poster for the movie on Twitter saying, “Here's the @PaperTownsMovie poster! YAY! #PaperTowns will be in theaters on July 24th…”
This is Green’s latest film adaption from his many young adult novels. The last one is a little movie you might have heard of called The Fault in Our Stars.
Paper Towns features Margo (played by Delevingne) and Quentin (played by Nat Wolff), two high school students who have grown apart. Margo suddenly comes back into Quentin's life, but disappears the evry next day, leaving Quentin to solve clues to figure out the mystery of where she's gone. Now, if you’re skeptical of Cara’s acting skills, listen to this.
After Cara’s audition months ago, Author John wrote on Twitter, QUOTE "Cara Delevingne's audition blew everyone away (including me!)," he wrote, "and she understands Margo profoundly. I am so excited!"
Paper Towns director Jake Schreier echoed Green's positive reviews saying QUOTE, "It was something special."
Acting has been a longtime passion for Delevignene who actually prefers it over modeling. In 2014 Cara told a UK magazine that QUOTE “Without [modeling], I wouldn’t be here now, but it’s not my love, acting is my love.” And she doesn’t think they are a far stretch from one another.
You can catch Paper Towns in theaters beginning on July 24, and the trailer is dropping in just one week, on Thursday the 19th. Is everyone excited to see Cara on the big screen? I can’t wait to hear her American accent. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below, don’t forget to subscribe, and then click right here to check out Things You didn't know Cara.
