A chief executive officer, who is facing an internal inquiry after he reported alleged improper conduct to the police and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, wants the court to protect him as a whistleblower.
Dr Syed Omar Syed Agil, who was appointed CEO of Institut Profesional Baitulmal Sdn Bhd, is seeking an injunction to restrain the company from continuing an internal probe against him, and his suspension on the grounds that he is a whistleblower.
