Chance Sutton just announced he’s leaving Team 10, marking the second member to leave the YouTube group in the past week alone.
Team 10 might have to change to Team 2 at the rate this is going.
Something’s in the water over at the Team 10 house and it’s not good, because yet another member just announced he’s quitting the Jake Paul-led YouTube group. Chance Sutton, who has been a part of the Internet troupe from the beginning, made the heartfelt reveal in a statement posted to Twitter earlier this week.
He wrote in part QUOTE “I have decided that it is my time to part ways with Team 10. I believe it is in the best interest for the future of my career that I start to focus on myself. I still plan on doing the things I love, such as streaming and producing content for everything that supports me.”
The 21-year-old says he has “nothing but love for all of Team 10,” which is similar to what Nick Crompton said when he left the group late last week. Nick, however, admitted that his decision was due to QUOTE “internal changes” that he doesn’t agree with.
Chance didn’t mention any of these changes that could’ve possibly led to his choice to venture out on his own, but did speak about what’s to come in the future.
He added QUOTE “Today was truly a day I never expected to happen, but I’m happy it did and am very optimistic for what the future holds. I am onto a new chapter in my life and have new projects I’m already working on. [...] I can’t wait to continue to grow and develop myself in the gaming space as it’s a huge passion of mine and I’m beyond excited to see where it takes me.”
Fans were completely shocked by chances announcement and many of them thought the timing was too coincidental to be real.
One person wrote QUOTE “I starting to think this is fake.”
Someone else tweeted QUOTE “I kinda feel like yall are pranking us. Why leave before tour? People want to meet you. I'll support you, but I just want to know...why now?”
The Team 10 tour kicks off on May 22nd in Phoenix and both Nick and Chase were supposed to be there. At this point, though, who knows who will show up.
It’s pretty obvious that something is happening between the Team 10 members right now. If one person chooses to leave, fine. But two in just a few days? Seems kinda fishy to me. Do you think Chance is pranking fans, or is he actually quitting Team 10? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below and then click here to get all the details about Nick Crompton’s departure. I’m your host Tom Plumley thanks for watching Clevver and I’ll see you next time.
