Aged just ten months old, morbidly obese baby Juanita Valentina Hernandez weighs the same as an average five-year-old. The baby, from Libano Tolima, Colombia, began rapidly gaining weight just weeks after her birth and since then her worried mother Sandra Franco has not been able to stop it. Last month charity Gorditos de Corazon (Chubby Hearts) brought Juanita to the capital, Bogota, where a team of specialists - including founder Salvador Palacio Gonzalez - began treatment. She is now undergoing tests to determine the cause of her weight gain.
