Malaysia’s downgrade to Tier 3 in Trafficking in Persons (TIP) report has been acknowledged by Chief Justice Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat.

This comes after Reuters reported the US State Department to downgrade Malaysia to the lowest ranking in its closely watched annual report on human trafficking released last year.
