Former Umno info chief Shahril Hamdan explained why he opposes the proposal to turn Chinese New Villages into a Unesco Heritage site, saying it's because of its history related to the Malayan Communist Party (MCP).

On the latest episode of the "Keluar Sekejap' podcast, Shahril and co-host Khairy Jamaluddin also accused Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming of being 'politically tone deaf' for coming up with such a proposal.
