The Malaysian Consumer Protection and Welfare Board (LPKPM) has urged the government to monitor manufacturers that have allegedly sold recycled cooking oil to consumers. Its Deputy President Dr Lee Nan Sang said the problem has exacerbated following higher demand for cheaper cooking oil sold in packets.
