The continuous rainfall has empowered the Feishuiyan Waterfall in Shibing County of southwest China’s Guizhou Province to branch out rare three waterfalls from a height of 148 meters.
The three powerful waterfalls pour down from a 148-meter-high precipice, creating roaring bursts that converge into a deep pound before flowing into a valley with a dense vegetation.
The three waterfalls paralleling with each other against the lofty mountains covered by green trees look like three white pieces of silk splashing down from the sky.
The magnificent scene is a masterpiece created by nature. The upper reach of the water source of the waterfall was an artificial channel built in the 1960s. Due to preservation deficiency, the artificial channel had been blocked by a mudslide and had cracked, through which water flows down to the cliff and formed two new waterfalls. Together with the old one, the two new waterfalls have created the magnificent scene, according to a villagers living near the waterfall.
The splashing waterfalls turned the site into a hot summer getaway spot with tourists gathering to take photos and romping jubilantly during the rainy season.
