A policeman escaped serious injury when a car rammed into him while he was directing traffic at a busy intersection on Jalan Raja Laut in Kuala Lumpur at 8.11am Tuesday.
Footage of the incident went viral on social media.
City Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Asst Comm Zulkefly Yahya said the policeman only suffered light injuries to his leg and was taken to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for treatment.
"The driver, a private university student, 25, has been brought to the traffic police station nearby to assist investigations.
