The court has set July 11th as the decision date in the case of the four Universiti Melaya students, including Anis Syafiqah Md Yusof, who filed an originating summons in the Kuala Lumpur High Court seeking an order that the tertiary institution's disciplinary action against them is unconstitutional.
Anis Syafiqah and Mohamad Luqman Nul Haqim Zul Razali are final year students who have been suspended by UM’s disciplinary board for the next semester for their participation in the “Tangkap MO1” rally last August.
Besides the two, the other student suspended is Muhamad Luqman Hakim Mohd Fazli, while Suhail Wan Azahar was fined.
