The Health Ministry has acknowledged that the country is experiencing a sharp increase in Covid-19 cases, however Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad stressed that a movement control order (MCO) is not being considered for now.
From Dec 10 to 16, the number of Covid-19 cases was at 20,696, a 62.2 percent increase from the week before. Dr Dzulkefly said that 97 percent of cases were mild.
