Malaysia reported 1,294 new Covid-19 cases today with a noticeable increase in new cases in Pahang.

Meanwhile, there were four states - Selangor, Sarawak, Penang and Johor - which reported new cases in the three digits.

Pahang reported 57 today, the state only reported 14 cases yesterday.

The Health Ministry also reported 1,442 recoveries today, lowering the number of active cases to 14,246.
