DAP to discuss Penang assembly dissolution with Harapan leaders, says Loke

DAP will bring up the proposal to dissolve the Penang legislative assembly at the Pakatan Harapan presidential council tomorrow, said DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke.

Loke said the party’s central executive committee had discussed Penang DAP's request to hold state elections concurrently with the parliamentary election and a decision would only be made after discussions with Harapan leaders.

He said based on reports, among reasons for the request was that voters in Penang don’t want to come out and vote twice.
