DAP will be sending their lawyers to accompany 'Edi Rejang', the man who had berated a beer promoter in a hypermarket, to IPD ampang Jaya to give his statement to the police said Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng.
The police are investigating the matter under Section 509 of the Penal Code which deals with offences involving words or gestures with the intention insult the modesty of a person.
