DG: No evidence former Covid-19 patients have immunity

Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah revealed today that there is not strong scientific evidence that those who have recovered from Covid-19 have developed immunity to protect themselves from a second infection.

This comes after the World Health Organisation urged countries to refrain from issuing 'immunity passports' to people who have recovered from Covid-19, which would allow them to be excluded from certain restrictions.
