Well here's a question we've never heard before -- how is Divergent different than the Hunger Games? Just kidding, we've heard this question basically a million times, but now Divergent stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James are going on the record to essentially say that the two movie franchises are different in that they're literally nothing alike. Yes, both films feature romance, conflict, and casts packed with lots of talented, beautiful young people, but other than that Shailene Woodley, who is a total genius by the way, said about Divergent and the Hunger Games that, "at the end of the day, it's like comparing Star Wars to Star Trek." And do I even need to remind you how different Star Wars is from Star Trek? In an interview with Digital Spy, Shailene explained the differences by just saying that "the storylines are inherently very different." And we get it, ever since the days of Twilight and even Harry Potter before that, people have been trying to compare one franchise to the next. But guess what everyone, Divergent is out in theaters right now, so why not just go watch the film yourself and see why and how it's different from the Hunger Games, Twilight, Mortal Instruments and every other book adaptation out there!
