DOCS: A Little Love Story

This engaging documentary is told through the eyes of Matthew as he travels to the USA’s largest convention of Little People in search of true love. Matthew is a typical Kiwi guy who enjoys sports, going to pubs, dancing and hanging out with his friends. However, at 4ft 5in, he is at the top end of dwarfism, with the most common form Acondraplasia. Now in his 30s, Matthew is keen to settle down, preferably with someone who’s also a Little Person. Only around 150 Little People live in New Zealand, so the chances there are remote and Matthew must look further afield. He signs up for the Little People of America National Conference, where delegates greet, meet, dance, play sports and look for love. This unique film follows Matthew on his journey - it is a challenge that will teach him a lot about himself and one that he doesn’t take lightly. But, crucially, as one of 1500 delegates attending, can he spark a connection with that special someone?
