Dominic Lau: PN didn't allocate campaign funds for candidates

Gerakan president Dominic Lau has confirmed that the Perikatan Nasional headquarters did not allocate any funds to its candidates for the six-state elections.

Lau told Malaysiakini last night that due to the freezing of the Bersatu's bank accounts by the government, PN candidates in the state elections are self-funding their campaigns.

"On our side, Gerakan can only help by assisting them (the candidates) in paying the deposit, but everything else is self-funding,” he added.
