Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Friday rejected the notion that the status of Islam under the Pakatan Harapan-led government is being challenged, when asked to comment on “Gathering 405”, a rally that is expected to be held in the city centre on Saturday to “defend the sovereignty of Islam”.
He urged the people to not be easily influenced by those who take the opportunity to gain political interests and fuel racial and religious sentiments.
