Former Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir apologised today in a blog post for an amendment made to the federal constitution during his tenure as prime minister.
The amendment concerned was to Article 66 4(a) which no longer required the approval and signature of the Yang diPertuan Agong on an act of parliament to be passed into law.
