Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Malaysia’s arms industry will be developed to spur the country’s economy much like the national car industry.
The premier said this at day two of the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace 2019, adding that developing an arms industry could also help Malaysia become a developed nation, but Malaysia had to learn the technology.
