The Prime Minister has urged civil servants to be patient in facing the rising cost of living as the government works to resolve the country’s RM1 trillion debt.
Speaking at the launch of MyCuepacsCare takaful programme on Monday, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the government’s focus was on reducing expenditure to be able to pay back the debt incurred by the previous administration.
He added that the government was also working to reduce the cost of living and increase the people’s purchasing power.
